BECOME A MEMBER
The IPWA is a multi-stakeholder initiative created to advance, promote and communicate continuous welfare improvement in the poultry and egg value chain. The IPWA achieves this through the direction, innovation, commitment and partnership of its members as they demonstrate their commitment to continuously improving the welfare of poultry. Membership also provides an opportunity to connect with leaders throughout the poultry and egg value chain to influence the dialogue of poultry welfare and contribute to the long-term viability of the poultry and egg industry.
Members are required to adhere to U.S. anti-trust laws and must support and advocate for all elements of the Vision and Mission of the International Poultry Welfare Alliance. Members must demonstrate their desire and ability to engage in constructive dialogue in furtherance of the IPWA's goals. Members are responsible for ensuring that their commitment to the objectives of the IPWA are substantiated by adequate financial and personnel resources within their organization, noting that the IPWA supports engagement from differing perspectives where constructive conflict is welcomed as long as it is in furtherance of the organization's Vision and Mission. Specific membership responsibilities include:
- Support and publicly advocate for all elements of the Vision, Mission and work of IPWA
- Support and contribute to the outcomes of the working groups
